We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to join our team at Nepean Hospital. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Emergency Department, preparing and managing medical staff rosters, liaising with multiple departments, and ensuring compliance with employment conditions and award provisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Emergency Department as a Roster Administrator, providing accurate and timely information to medical staff.
- Prepare and manage medical staff rosters, taking into account planned and unplanned leave.
- Liaise with various departments to compile daily rosters, maintain records in electronic systems, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Manage locum placements, process timesheets, monitor overtime, and escalate staffing deficits as needed.
Requirements
- Demonstrated capacity to provide effective administrative support, working in confidence and with discretion.
- Well-developed interpersonal, verbal, and communication skills, with the ability to interact with management and staff at all levels.
- Confident and proactive in learning new software and technology, including MS Office Suite.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
