Young People Specialist

This is a dedicated and compassionate role as part of our service in Townsville. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to deliver intensive engagement, treatment, supervision, and assertive outreach aimed at reducing recidivism rates after detention.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver case management services for young people in the program.
- Assess each young person, develop Case Treatment Plans, and support clients to achieve their goals.
- Work with the team to coordinate day-to-day client care plans.
- Ensure young people have representation and access to required services.
- Arrange community networking for young people to encourage positive interactions in a safe and supportive environment.
- Liaise with referrers, service providers, stakeholders, and family and carers to ensure the best service for our young people.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, statistics, and reports.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people between 12 to 25 years old, minimum 2 years direct casework experience, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
