Young Peoples Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Welfare Officer to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual who wants to make a positive impact in the lives of students and their families.
The Welfare Officer will play a vital role in ensuring the holistic wellbeing and welfare needs of students are met. They will work closely with senior school students, facilitating student enrolment, conducting interviews, and assisting with paperwork.
- Support students aged 15-18 years.
- Facilitate student enrolment and assist with administrative tasks.
- Assess student needs and develop strategies to support their wellbeing.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience and passion in providing individual support and working with young people. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
You will also have a minimum qualification of Diploma in Community Services, Counselling, Youth Work, Social Science, or related discipline.
