About the Role

This position involves leading technical investigations, articulating complex security issues to clients and collaborating with team members in a dynamic environment.

NTT DATA is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our Managed Services Team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in security incident management, response and vulnerability assessment, as well as hands-on experience with SIEM tools like Splunk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve complex security incidents, communicate findings to clients and stakeholders.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of client environments, including network diagrams and configuration databases.
  • Develop and implement service improvement plans to enhance security operations.
  • Provide proactive communication on incident resolution status to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Support the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in managed cyber security environment with Firewall experience (Cisco FTD, Palo Alto) and proxy experience (Palo Alto Prisma/SASE, BlueCoat).
  • Experience in security incident management and response with hands-on experience with SIEM tools mainly Splunk.
  • Cybersecurity operations experience involving security alert triage, threat hunting, vulnerability assessment.
  • Palo Alto Security Certification or Cisco CCNP/CCIE Security certified.
  • Strong knowledge of supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting security incidents on Cisco ASA/Firepower/FTD, Cisco ISE, Juniper SRX.
  • Experience in supporting web gateway technology from Palo Alto Prisma, Zscaler ZIA, Netskope.
  • Experience in managing compliance management tools like AlgoSec Firemon, Skybox, Tufin.
  • Good knowledge of routing and switching protocols.
