As a Cyber Security Engineering Chapter Lead, you will be responsible for driving the development of complex security initiatives across our platforms and systems.

Responsibilities

  • You will lead a team of expert cyber security engineers while supporting and guiding internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver complex security initiatives across the group's platforms and systems.
  • Foster a team culture of learning, technical excellence, and alignment with organizational cybersecurity objectives.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in leading solution design efforts for complex cybersecurity systems in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in crafting detailed designs, defining reusable patterns, and conducting PoCs to validate new approaches.
  • Hands-on experience with DevSecOps tools and practices, including secure CI/CD pipelines, vulnerability management, and infrastructure as code (IaC).

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in cybersecurity engineering, including technologies across infrastructure, cloud, data, and networks.
  • Knowledge of networks, cloud platforms, and modern DevSecOps practices.

What We Offer

We offer an attractive salary range between $170,000 - $250,000 AUD per year, depending on your experience. If you're already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group, you'll need to apply through our internal system. We're keen to support you with the next step in your career.
