Cyber Security Engineer with Expertise in Advanced Threat Detection

As a Cyber Security Engineer with NTT DATA, you will play a vital role in securing and resolving cyber threats for our key clients. You will be responsible for performing a variety of engineering activities to enable the delivery of cyber security services, including:

  • Accepting, managing, and updating service requests to ensure contracted Service Level Agreements are met.
  • Providing remote technical support and escalations within Managed Services' ITIL aligned service delivery processes.
  • Managing, owning, and coordinating the technical resolution of incidents either remotely or onsite utilizing Field Engineering resources.

You will work closely with our team to provide proactive, constant, and clear communication on the status of incident/problem resolution between the client, NTT, and any other 3rd party supplier and vendors.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in cyber security operations, including experience in security incident management and response, as well as a comprehensive understanding of security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Splunk, Cisco ASA/Firepower/FTD, Juniper SRX, Palo Alto Prisma/SASE, BlueCoat, Zscalar, and f5 security products.
  • Experience working in a managed cyber security environment, preferably with Firewall – Cisco FTD, Palo Alto, Juniper, Checkpoint, Proxy – Palo Alto Prisma/SASE, BlueCoat, Zscalar, and f5 security products.
  • Cisco CCNP/CCIE Security certified with good working experience in supporting Cisco ASA, FTD/IPS, ISE, AnyConnect VPN.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
