Randstad is a leading staffing agency currently seeking experienced payroll professionals to join their Adelaide-based government client.

The successful candidates will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with end-to-end payroll processes for a high volume of employees. This includes ensuring timely and accurate payments, maintaining accurate employee records, handling payroll-related inquiries, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the payroll process from start to finish, guaranteeing timely and precise payments
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records, including salaries, benefits, and deductions
  • Respond to payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations, including tax and benefits requirements
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to guarantee payroll information remains current and accurate

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience in payroll support or administration
  • Familiarity with payroll software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to handle confidential information

In this role, you can expect a competitive hourly rate of $44-$46 per hour, paid three times a week, along with access to Randstad's benefits and services.
