About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Management Leader to join our Group Treasury Team at Macquarie Bank Limited. As a Senior Manager - Risk and Controls, you will play a pivotal role in the uplift and transformation of control environments across the Capital and Liquidity critical functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Make an impact on a long-term, business-critical project crucial to maintaining Macquarie's strong, conservative balance sheet.
- Play a key role in transforming the end-to-end capital and liquidity process from the operating model and system landscape to the relevant calculation, data, and reporting frameworks.
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on risk management and control frameworks to ensure the company's risk appetite is aligned with its business objectives.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Risk Management, Control Documentation, and Design.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Project delivery experience, with a particular focus on Risk Management or Controls.
- Exposure to Data Risk and Controls will be highly regarded.
- Tertiary qualifications in Data, Technology, or Finance-related discipline are not essential but advantageous.
