Key Responsibilities:

  • Expand the Customer Base: Engage with potential clients through cold calling, industry research, and networking at events to understand market trends and customer needs.
  • Manage the Sales Funnel: Use Salesforce to track opportunities, review progress monthly, and follow up on leads from our partnerships and marketing efforts.
  • Extend the Current Offering: Meet with key decision-makers, understand their requirements, and propose solutions that highlight the advantages of CHEP's products.
  • Innovate and Grow: Explore new markets and applications for our products, driving growth through innovative supply chain solutions.

Requirements:

  • A completed, relevant tertiary qualification in supply chain, agriculture/produce, or business is ideal, not essential.
  • Solid working history in a sales/customer-facing role, ideally within fresh produce.
  • Ability to engage customers to accurately identify business needs/problems to solve.
  • Ability to close deals quickly and effectively with win/win outcomes.
  • Ability to engage with senior decision-makers and business owners, building trusted partnerships.
  • Basic computer literacy – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce.
  • Solid commercial acumen.
  • Ability to articulate the features & benefits of a product and service.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to achieve results.
