Role and Responsibilities

The National Account Manager plays a critical role in bridging our brand with retail channel partners, driving demand generation, and supporting revenue growth in Samsung's Consumer Electronics division.

This multifaceted role involves developing and executing successful sales strategies, managing relationships with retail channel partners, collaborating with internal teams, and forecasting/reporting sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans for Sell In and Sell Out, coordinating marketing programs with key accounts.
  • Translate division targets and segment strategies into weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts and account plans.
  • Manage and measure account performance through detailed business planning and regular reviews.
  • Optimize channel engagement between accounts and sales teams to drive consistent sales outcomes and positive customer experiences.
  • Organize and manage monthly, quarterly, and 6-monthly business reviews.
  • Develop and customize ongoing tactical sales programs and retailer training programs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2C/B2B2C National Account Management experience, preferably in the Consumer Electronics industry.
  • Proven experience in account management and customer relationship building.
  • Experience in managing sales, forecasting, planning, and promotions to drive revenue.
  • Understanding of the Consumer Electronics retail market in Australia, preferably with vendor/supplier management experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets/expectations.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • A drive to improve operational processes.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and agility in a fast-paced environment.

The nature of this role and level of responsibility may require reasonable additional hours over and above 37.5 hours per week and may also require work outside of ordinary hours.
