As a key member of the senior management team, you will provide high-level governance support to the Board and facilitate best practice in a period of transformation and change.

Currently transitioning business operations in alignment with government changes in forest policy, the organization will shift from commercial-scale native forestry management to contracted harvest and haul services for forest health outcomes. Maintaining increased softwood plantation development activity supports WA's housing and construction industry.

**Job Summary**

This role reports to the Chief Executive and serves as the chief governance professional within the organization, providing independent and objective professional governance advisory services, corporate administration, and advice on current best practice corporate governance requirements. This includes directors' duties, reporting and disclosure obligations, and proper meetings' procedure.

You will provide expert oversight and guidance, ensuring sound frameworks are in place to manage corporate risk, governance, and integrity. The position has scope to assist with internal legal matters and support for key projects.

With highly developed relationship management and interpersonal skills, you will engage and facilitate outcomes with the Board and key stakeholders. Your ability to work autonomously, use initiative, and exercise judgment in an environment with competing priorities is essential.
