Key Role Summary

The Strategic Customer Success Manager occupies a pivotal position in driving customer value and adoption of products.

This key individual will establish trusted advisor relationships with customers, demonstrate thorough knowledge of products, and guide customers on organizational development best practices.

The successful candidate will proactively identify risks to customers achieving their business objectives, collaborate with the sales team to develop risk mitigation strategies, and deliver business value and innovation by understanding opportunities to reduce costs and drive growth.

Responsibilities
  • Establish strategic relationships with customers' IT, Engineering, and Support organizations.
  • Demonstrate expertise in product application and apply it to customer business priorities.
  • Guide customers on process, people, and change management best practices to enhance adoption.
  • Proactively identify risks to customers achieving their business goals and collaborate with the sales team to develop mitigation plans.
  • Deliver business value and innovation by identifying opportunities to reduce costs and drive growth.
  • Recommend additional services when appropriate to drive success.
  • Communicate technical product updates and other relevant information.
  • Represent customer interests to inform sales processes or product roadmaps.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
Requirements
  • 12-15 years of industry experience in a dynamic, customer-facing role within a B2B organization.
  • Strong consulting skills and proven results as a trusted advisor to drive business value for customers.
  • Ability to drive effective conversations at the executive level and facilitate difficult discussions.
  • Experience building Business Value ROI models.
  • Thorough understanding of enterprise architecture, DevOps principles, and modern IT monitoring.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a DevOps environment or with a company transitioning to DevOps.
