The Role

We seek an experienced Operational Workforce Manager to support day-to-day operations and personnel onsite. In this role, you will play a crucial part in fostering positive relationships and empowering staff.

This is a permanent, full-time position (Monday-Friday).

  • Manage new personnel arrivals to site, including inductions, site access, transport, and accommodation.
  • Coordinate and manage the mobilization of Pacific Labour Scheme (PLS) workers.
  • Transport employees to clinics and appointments.
  • Support onsite employee wellbeing through regular check-ins and follow-ups.
  • Educate and mentor onsite employees on workplace operations.
  • Foster the relationship between clients and FIP Group employees.
  • Oversee the onsite workforce, including employee onboarding, performance management, conduct-related matters, probationary checks, warnings, and terminations.
  • Monitor and report on employee retention and attendance.
  • Ensure compliance with site safety and WHS policies and procedures.
Your Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Experience in people management
  • Intermediate computer literacy, including Microsoft Suite skills
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Human Resources fundamentals; HR experience is desirable
  • A current open driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • High-level problem-solving skills
  • The ability and willingness to receive a QFever vaccination and complete a Police Check
  • Experience working with a culturally diverse workforce is desired
