Role Overview

AIG is a leading provider of insurance products and services for commercial and personal insurance customers. We are seeking a skilled Multinational Issuing Office Coordinator to join our team in Melbourne.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the Australia and New Zealand inbound multinational portfolio, working closely with the Head of APAC Issuing Office, Multinational. Key accountabilities will include reviewing completeness and accuracy of instructions, managing communication and engagement with brokers, clients, and the Multinational network, and coordinating service requirements for local portion of Multinational programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and verify instructions based on local regulations and rules
  • Manage communication and engagement with brokers, clients, and the Multinational network
  • Coordinate service requirements for local portion of Multinational programs
  • Manage all aspects of local inbound multinational clients' requests
  • Meet or exceed client service expectations for assigned inbound requests

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years insurance experience, preferably client servicing (broker or company)
  • Preferably with good understanding of in-country Commercial Insurance
  • Strong administration skills
  • Computer literacy required: IT packages, MS Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative/organized
  • Highly motivated and ability to work autonomously
  • Good time management skills – ability to handle multiple priorities, organize work, and meet deadlines
