Job Overview

A leading international financial institution is seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Specialist to join their fund administration department in Sydney. The role involves reviewing and overseeing the work of Fund Accountants, both in-office and abroad.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in unit pricing, tax reporting, valuation and accounting, and distributions or taxable income calculations. A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, along with CA/CPA qualifications, will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and verify reporting in line with SLA targets, focusing on generating unit pricing reports, accounting reports, and tax reports.
  • Resolve client and interdepartmental issues promptly.
  • Maintain efficient communication with fellow departments and clients.
Requirements
  • 4+ years' experience in senior roles within the fund accounting function.
  • Proficiency in Hi-Portfolio, PControl, or Dimension unit pricing and fund accounting systems.
  • Strong technical accounting ability and knowledge of operational risk and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
Remuneration Package
