About the Role:- Empower residents to engage in individual and group activities, promoting social interaction and overall well-being.
- Conduct comprehensive resident assessments to gain a deeper understanding of each resident's preferences and needs.
- Plan and implement engaging events and lifestyle activities that foster connections within our community, involving volunteers, family members, and friends.
- Lead the lifestyle team as a supportive coach, supervisor, and mentor, providing guidance and encouragement.
As a Lifestyle Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to create and develop lifestyle programs that promote the social, psychological, recreational, cultural, and spiritual well-being of our residents.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A compassionate heart and a passion for delivering high-quality care to seniors.
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Effective coaching and training skills.
- The ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families.
- A commitment to respecting residents' values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs.
- Proficiency in IT - tested during the recruitment process.
- NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain.
