Learning Enrichment Position Overview

Presbyterian Ladies' College Sydney is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated teacher to support students with diverse learning needs.

The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing tailored learning programs and interventions, working collaboratively with classroom teachers and the Learning Enrichment team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Programs: Design and deliver high-quality learning enrichment programs focused on numeracy for students.
  • Collaborate and Support: Collaborate with classroom teachers to create modified learning materials and programs that cater to individual student needs.
  • Create Individualised Plans: Develop and maintain individualised learning plans to meet the specific needs of students.
  • Liaise with Families: Provide regular updates and support to families regarding their child's progress.
  • Provide Pastoral Care: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the personal well-being of all students.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualifications and Experience: Post-graduate qualifications in Learning Support or Special Education, along with a minimum of three years of experience working with students with diverse needs.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong work ethic, initiative, compassion, and empathy for students with learning disabilities.
