
Cluster Commercial Growth Specialist

The purpose of this role is to develop and execute commercial strategies that maximize revenue and profit performance. The Commercial Development Manager will work closely with the Commercial Director to drive business growth and development activities across Hilton Northern Territory Cluster hotels.
This involves planning and executing commercial strategy through supporting Revenue management, Sales, Catering and Events, Marketing, eCommerce and Public Relations teams. The primary goal is to increase market share penetration and optimize revenue generation.
The Commercial Development Manager is responsible for:
- Developing and implementing commercial strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets;
- Supporting Revenue management to establish optimal pricing, review and validate forecasts, and develop strategies for different demand periods;
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders, owners, hotel teams, and sales teams;
- Providing accurate reports on sales leads and revenue performance;
- Assisting in developing annual/quarterly/monthly budget forecasts and work plans;
- Producing revenue plans, budgets, and forecasts in conjunction with the Commercial Director;
- Developing key account management and account plans to increase market power;
- Ensuring measurement systems are in place to track production of targeted accounts;
- Identifying key retention and acquisition accounts for each salesperson;
- Actively seeking out new sources of business;
- Developing and managing travel manager/booker programs;
- Promoting business for other Hilton Hotels;
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity with international chain hotels;
- Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills;
- Able to work under pressure;
- An innovative self-starter with high motivation;
