
Fintech Business Growth Lead

This role is pivotal in driving the continued growth of a Fintech company by identifying future opportunities.
A successful Payments Fintech is seeking an experienced professional to acquire new partners (software and other partners) and enterprise merchants across their suite of C2B and B2B payment products. This role will bridge the gap between the market's payments needs and the FinTech's product offering by proactively uncovering opportunities and approaching new prospects.
You will have the opportunity to work with senior leaders in the respective businesses as you get to research industries and prospects, understand their needs, map solutions and close new business opportunities. Solution Sales experience in the world of payments is essential as well as technical understanding of how software integrations (e.g. APIs) work.
Leveraging your extensive knowledge of the Australian payments landscape, you will collaborate closely with prospective technical and commercial teams to clarify payment gaps and recommend payment solutions.
This role will appeal to an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves to communicate new ideas. The Blue Ocean strategy, identifying new opportunities, leading workshops, and closing new business is what this role is all about.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Identify partners and major merchants in the world of C2B and B2B payments.
- Proactively approach targets.
- Lead workshops, proposals, and map solutions based on the FinTech's extensive product stack.
- Closed and grow new business opportunities.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in payments technology, preferably as a Solution Consultant or in B2B sales.
- Can form relationships with senior leaders at major merchants, software providers, existing and new partners.
- Strong understanding of Australia's payment systems, technology, methods and processes.
- Proven track record of success in identifying and closing new business opportunities.
- Knowledge of Blue Ocean strategy principles and their application in business development.
- An understanding of Accounts receivables in the world of C2B and B2B business will also be an advantage.
This role is instrumental in driving growth through strategic partnerships and collaboration.
