Associate Event Coordinator

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Associate Event Producer to join our City Events team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional festivals and events that engage the community and raise the profile of the City of Ipswich as a major event city.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with programming of events within Council's signature festivals and other major events to deliver amazing experiences, quality arts and cultural outcomes, and community and economic benefits
- Facilitate the coordination of relevant stakeholders, both external and across Council, fostering trust and collaboration to achieve agreed priorities
- Utilise event processes and best-practice reporting, analysis, feasibility, performance measurement and research to demonstrate value and ROI for clients and council
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A relevant events, marketing and/or tourism qualification
- Experience in event delivery, including programming events or venues (outdoor venue experience highly desirable)
- Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and administration skills
- Hold a current Queensland C class driver's licence
- Ability to work outside of core office hours during event delivery will be required
This is a permanent full-time, Level 3 position with a salary commencing at $77,104 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%. You will also enjoy a range of benefits, including:
