Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Oversee the Digital Experience team, including library makerspace and systems specialists
- Manage and advance LCS systems, ensuring they meet current and future needs
- Lead the technical documentation and design of LCS systems in collaboration with the Council's ICT branch
- Contribute to the Council's CX program by analyzing customer data to refine customer experience and inform on industry trends

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Qualifications in the fields of web/technology design, information technology or associated discipline and/or extensive experience in creative/analytical information technology integration
- Contextual experience within the library and/or customer service industry is preferred
- A hands-on style, you will need to know how these systems interface with a functioning online library and externally focussed libraries and customer service contact centres
- A Working with Children Check - Issue of Blue Card and Positive Notice Letter (issued by the Queensland Government) or Exemption Card
- A current Queensland Driver’s licence
- Belief in our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership

Please note that Ipswich Libraries operate 7 days per week, and so occasional work outside of the usual span of hours will be a requirement in this role.
