About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Pastoral Care Specialist to deliver relationship-based care in our palliative service. This permanent part-time position is based at Braeside Hospital, supporting patients and their families.

The ideal candidate has strong understanding and experience of people living with life-limiting illness, including carers and journeys of grief and bereavement.

  • Strong personal faith and church involvement
  • Theological/Pastoral Care qualifications and experience
  • Palliative care experience desired
  • Demonstrated capacity to pastorally care for and enhance the wellbeing of those in need

You will be responsible for providing pastoral care and support to patients, relevant families and staff, as well as acting as a role model for staff and an advocate for our Christian values.
