We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Spiritual Support Coordinator.

About the Role

This position involves delivering spiritual support services to residents and clients, ensuring they have choice in line with their preferences. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal spiritual support and pastoral care services to residents and clients in line with their preferences and the organization's mission.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver spiritual support services to residents and clients, taking into account their individual needs and preferences.
  • Provide emotional and spiritual support to residents and clients, promoting their well-being and quality of life.
  • Support the development of mission formation activities for employees within the residential aged care home.
Requirements
  • Certificate III or IV in Pastoral Care or similar qualifications in theology or spirituality.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith, particularly as it relates to the dignity of life and aged care.
  • Commitment to supporting the spiritual care needs of the sick and elderly and their family members.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Location and Employment Details

South Hurstville & Kogarah.

Part-time employment.

7 days per fortnight (52.5 hours per fortnight); 4 days at South Hurstville and 3 days at Kogarah (7.5 hours per day).
