Deliver Spiritual Care Services

We are seeking an experienced Pastoral Care Coordinator to provide spiritual support and care services to our residents and clients. This is a casual position working from $35 to $46.50 per hour + superannuation.

  • Provide personal spiritual support and pastoral care services to residents and clients in line with their preferences and Catholic Healthcare's Mission.
  • Support mission formation activities for employees within the residential aged care home.
  • Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures.

About this Role:

  • Personal qualifications include Cert III or Cert IV in Pastoral Care or similar qualifications in theology or spirituality.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith, particularly as it relates to the dignity of life and aged care.
  • Commitment to supporting the pastoral/spiritual care needs of the sick and elderly and their family members.
  • Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Willingsness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
