Pastoral Care Coordinator Role

Our organisation is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pastoral Care Coordinator to deliver personal spiritual support and pastoral care services to residents and clients.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality pastoral care services in line with the preferences of residents and clients.
  • Support mission formation activities for employees within the residential aged care home.
  • Work safely to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents by following all policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III or IV in Pastoral Care or similar qualifications in theology or spirituality.
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith, particularly as it relates to the dignity of life and aged care.
  • A commitment to supporting the pastoral/spiritual care needs of the sick and elderly and their family members.
  • A commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
