**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Area Manager, responsible for managing a territory within our beverage portfolio. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent sales and business development skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver sales and profit targets for the assigned territory, executing pricing strategies effectively.
- Build and enhance our portfolio through Distribution, Activation & Visibility initiatives.
- Negotiate additional promotions and displays at store level to increase share of space and visibility of our brands.
- Manage a set call cycle effectively to maximise productivity, covering key customers locally and regionally, ensuring real-time data is recorded and maintained via our Customer Relation Management system.
- Complete and submit all reporting, expenses, Customer Relations Management and admin requirements within deadlines.
- Compile a monthly report detailing achievements, market intelligence, challenges and work plan, sharing achievements with the broader business, including photos and best practices.
- Provide tailored proposals and recommendations to drive new opportunities for customers and the portfolio.
- Activate and analyse promotion/activation activity and share information/learning's across the business, proactively reporting on competitor activity and market intelligence.
Requirements:
- A strong track record in sales and business development, with experience in managing territories or teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive results.
- Proficient in using CRM systems and other business tools to manage customer interactions and data.
