Job Title: Indigenous Tourism Partnership Specialist At Destination 2045, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Indigenous Tourism Partnership Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on building relationships with Indigenous peoples and businesses, negotiating tourism experiences, and working collaboratively with stakeholders to drive economic development in the region. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous leaders and organizations to identify opportunities for tourism partnerships.
  • Work closely with government agencies and stakeholders to negotiate agreements and contracts that support Indigenous tourism initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Indigenous businesses and communities to develop and market tourism products and experiences.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and programs that promote Indigenous tourism and economic development.
  • Represent the department at regional, state, and national forums for tourism innovation.

As a successful candidate, you will have strong communication and negotiation skills, experience working with Indigenous communities and stakeholders, and a deep understanding of the tourism industry.
