About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Officer. As the first point of contact in the Branch, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our customer network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide information on BOQ's products and services to internal and external customers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through quality conversations and proactive communication
  • Contribute to achieving branch success by working collaboratively with the team
  • Perform teller duties, including general enquiries, account opening/closing, deposits, and withdrawals
  • Initiate quality conversations with customers through floor walking and proactive engagement
  • Book interviews and maintain customer relationships through inbound and outbound calling
  • Perform daily maintenance of the ATM and manage cash
  • Order stationery and maintain a strong focus on compliance

About You:

  • You will have previous customer service experience, preferably in the banking industry
  • You will be a contributor to a collaborative team environment and willing to go above and beyond for customers and colleagues
  • You will have a 'can do' approach to all aspects of your role and be able to learn and confidently use technical financial systems
