Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Commercial Project Manager. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful commercial delivery of major infrastructure projects. The selected candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to align financial and contractual strategies with project goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with commercial managers, contract administrators, technical advisors, clients, and contractors to ensure cohesive project delivery.
  • Monitor and report on commercial performance to support decision-making and risk mitigation.
  • Provide expert advice on financial forecasting, payment processes, contract controls, and claims resolution.
  • Lead commercial aspects of change control, ensuring transparency and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct detailed cash flow analysis to support financial planning and project sustainability.
  • Operate within client offices or as part of a seconded team, embedded within a T&T-led delivery model.
  • May have line management responsibilities within the T&T team depending on experience.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record in large-scale infrastructure, health, aviation, government, or defence projects.
  • Strong understanding of commercial frameworks, contract management, and financial controls.
  • Experience with alliance models and collaborative delivery environments is highly valued.
  • Exposure to both client/consultancy and contractor-side delivery is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • Personal attributes: resilient, detail-oriented, excellent communicator, and alignment with T&T values.
