About the Role

Flying Bark Productions is seeking a highly skilled CG Lighting Artist to join our team of talented artists and technicians. As a CG Lighting Artist, you will play a critical role in the execution and delivery of high-quality visual effects for our productions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with compositors and creative leads to achieve the creative brief set by the VFX Supervisor.
  • Confidently use industry-standard tools and software, including Arnold and Katana, to create stunning lighting and rendering effects.
  • Develop and maintain consistency of lighting across all shots, ensuring a cohesive visual style.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot lighting and rendering problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work closely with compositors to bring shots from lighting through to final, maintaining timing and production quotas.
  • Successfully interpret and execute creative briefs, whether verbal or visual.
  • Contribute to a positive team dynamic, maintaining good communication and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Problem-solve and predict potential problems with assigned tasks, ensuring timely completion.
  • Self-manage and complete tasks within production deadlines, prioritizing tasks effectively.
