About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CG Supervisor to join our team at Industrial Light & Magic. As a key member of our visual effects studio, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical quality and efficiency of our 3D animation and rendering pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical development and implementation of our 3D animation and rendering pipeline
  • Collaborate with producers and discipline leaders to ensure all delivered shots meet our technical standards and support the creative vision of the director
  • Direct the work of artists, technical directors, and other team members to achieve high-quality results
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards for our pipeline
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions to improve pipeline efficiency
  • Work closely with other studio CG Supervisors to ensure pipeline and workflow parity across the global team
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on production experience in 3D animation and rendering
  • Strong knowledge of Linux, Python, and shell scripting
  • Experience with Maya, Katana, Zeno, and Nuke
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
