As a CG Lighting Artist, you will play a critical role in the execution and delivery of high-quality visual effects for our productions.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with compositors and creative leads to achieve the creative brief set by the VFX Supervisor
* Confidently use the tools and software provided to deliver high-quality lighting and rendering
* Maintain consistency of lighting across all shots
* Optimize and troubleshoot lighting and rendering problems in a fast-paced environment
* Work closely with compositors to bring shots from lighting through to final while maintaining timing and production quotas
* Successfully take and interpret a creative brief, whether verbal or visual
* Work within a team and maintain good team dynamics
* Problem solve and predict potential problems with assigned tasks
* Self-manage and complete tasks within production deadlines
* Communicate and seek information when necessary

Requirements:

* Minimum 5+ years production experience in 3D animated films and/or animated episodic
* Portfolios with mature, graphic stylization of reality preferred
* Experience lighting and rendering with Arnold using Katana
* Experience in Nuke to create a pre-composite tree that combines rendered elements
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
