About the Role

This energetic and highly engaged team provides full-service support to our valuable small business customers, encouraging their growth and supporting their personal journeys. Experienced bankers like you will guide them through challenges and develop long-term, trusted partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Engage in personal and meaningful conversations with our small business customers and referral partners to provide an integrated customer experience.
  2. Build strong and lasting relationships with our branch colleagues, the wider group, and externally with referral networks and brokers.
  3. Collaborate as a team to perform credit analysis and approve requests for temporary excesses/increased limits up to your Delegated Commitment Authority (DCA).
  4. Manage lending and product requests for small business customers with a long-term AAA pipeline for the customer portfolio.
  5. Owning retention-related activities to bring our organization closer to customers and deepen the 'my Bank' footprint, including customer complaints and escalations through to resolution.
  6. Assess economic value and risk potential of new business opportunities.
  7. Provide expertise and insights about business options while balancing risk for growth and innovation.
Requirements
  • Experience in a traditional distributed business model specializing in solutions and relationship management for customers from $0-$5M in home lending and $0-$2M in small business lending will be essential.
  • A tertiary qualification in a business-related discipline will be highly regarded.
