Join a dynamic team as a Payroll Specialist to manage and run payroll across Australia.

This role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong leadership skills, keen attention to detail, and extensive experience with regional payroll operations. We are seeking someone who can ensure accurate and timely payroll operations, optimize payroll systems and processes, and partner with HR and Finance to support business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to identify opportunities to streamline systems and payroll procedures for scalability as the business grows, while maintaining exemplary standards in data quality, audit readiness, and adherence to Australian payroll legislation and GDPR requirements.

  • Manage payroll operations across all Australian sites, acting as the main escalation point for complex queries.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve systems and payroll procedures.
  • Maintain high standards in data quality, audit readiness, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on reconciliations, audits, and payroll-related compliance.

Key Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing payroll, with strong understanding of Australian payroll laws and hands-on expertise in HRIS systems.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and improve processes.
