Job Title: Payroll Expert - Managing Complex Payrolls

Role Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your extensive payroll expertise in managing complex payrolls across various cycles.

Main Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of payrolls, maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Testing and Review: Conduct thorough testing and analytical review activities to guarantee data integrity and identify discrepancies for continuous improvement.
  • Payroll Systems Support: Provide expert support across payroll systems and workflows, including integration, system administration, and troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Legislative Compliance: Stay informed of regulatory changes, meet audit requirements, and manage year-end processes such as reconciliations and issuing payment summaries.
  • Training and Advice: Deliver specialist payroll advice and training, supporting team development, coaching staff, and assisting customers with EBA interpretation and payroll-related queries.
  • Reporting: Produce accurate and timely reporting, including termination and redundancy calculations, general ledger reconciliations, and statutory reports, while maintaining current SOPs.

This position requires a strong knowledge of payroll procedures and finance processes, with experience handling weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay runs in complex environments.
