Job Overview

Residential Estimator and Contract Administrator role – we are seeking a skilled professional to manage the estimating and contracts administration process on luxury residential projects. This hands-on role involves working closely with the project team, contributing to the business's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse architectural plans and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates for high-end residential construction projects.
  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, material pricing, and labour estimates for various trades and scopes of work.
  • Prepare, review, and administer contracts, including subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and variations.
  • Assist in the procurement process by obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and selecting suitable suppliers.
  • Monitor project costs, track variations, and provide accurate and timely reports on project financials.
  • Manage progress claims, invoicing, and ensure timely payment to subcontractors and suppliers.
Requirements
  • Minimum three years' experience as an estimator/contract administrator across architecturally designed residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
  • Excellent attention to detail - able to pick up on inconsistencies or issues early.
  • Proficiency using Procore.
  • A proactive, accountable approach - you manage your own time and deliver reliable results.
