Estimator/Contract Administrator

This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for managing the full Estimating and Contracts Administration process on luxury residential projects.

  • Analyze architectural plans, specifications, and other project documentation to develop accurate cost estimates for high-end residential construction projects.
  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, material pricing, and labour estimates for various trades and scopes of work.
  • Prepare, review, and administer contracts, including subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and variations.
  • Assist in the procurement process by obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and selecting suitable suppliers.
  • Monitor project costs, track variations, and provide accurate and timely reports on project financials.
  • Manage progress claims, invoicing, and ensure timely payment to subcontractors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the estimation and administration of contracts.
  • Work closely with the Director and the broader project team.
  • Contribute to the business's success.
Requirements:
  • Minimum three years' experience as an Estimator/Contract Administrator across architecturally designed residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
  • Excellent attention to detail - able to pick up on inconsistencies or issues early.
  • Proficiency using Procore.
  • A proactive, accountable approach - you manage your own time and deliver reliable results.
