About the Role

Design and Build Recruitment is seeking a skilled Estimator/Contract Administrator to join their team. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for managing the full estimating and contracts administration process on luxury residential projects.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in the field, with strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing. They will also be proficient in using Procore and have excellent attention to detail.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Analyse architectural plans and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates for high-end residential construction projects
  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, material pricing, and labour estimates for various trades and scopes of work
  • Prepare, review, and administer contracts, including subcontractor agreements and purchase orders
  • Assist in the procurement process by obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and selecting suitable suppliers
  • Monitor project costs, track variations, and provide accurate and timely reports on project financials
  • Manage progress claims, invoicing, and ensure timely payment to subcontractors and suppliers
Required Skills & Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Minimum three years' experience as an Estimator/Contract Administrator in architecturally designed residential projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in using Procore and other relevant software
  • A proactive, accountable approach to their work
