About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Railway Signalling Project Management Expert to join our Rail Operations team in Sydney.

Rail Operations is an internal business unit within Laing O'Rourke, specialising in Rail delivery, working with technical experts to deliver high-profile projects across New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate on-site construction engineering activities to achieve project objectives safely, including cost, time, quality, and sustainability.
  • Support the Project Manager in delivering their package of work, ensuring the project is completed within budget, time, quality, and sustainability objectives safely.
  • Lead, direct, and mentor direct report project engineers and site engineers on the project.

About You

  • A degree in an Engineering Discipline (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) or Construction Management, with Chartered Professional Engineer status or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Engineering/Construction, with knowledge of Railway Engineering Standards & Specifications, Modern Signalling Technology, and Signalling Principles.
  • Experience in the Rail Industry, with a valid construction Green/White Card.

Estimated Salary Range:$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
