Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Signal Engineering Team Lead to join our Rail Operations team in Sydney. This role will involve coordinating engineering activities to achieve project objectives safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in railway engineering, signaling principles, and modern technology. Experience in project management, team leadership, and mentoring is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate on-site construction engineering activities to ensure project cost, time, quality, and sustainability objectives are met safely and efficiently.
  • Provide support to the Project Manager, ensuring the delivery of projects within budget, time, quality, and sustainability objectives safely.
  • Lead, mentor, and direct project engineers and site engineers to achieve project objectives.
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management with Chartered Professional Engineer status.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in engineering or construction, preferably in the rail industry.
  • Familiarity with railway engineering standards, signaling technology, and principles.
  • Valid construction Green/White Card.
