Job Summary

Community Services #1 is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Director and Educational Leader to join our team at Mawson Out of School Hours Care Program. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality educational program that meets the developmental needs of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of educators to ensure the implementation of a high-quality educational program
  • Support the Centre Director in the day-to-day management of the program
  • Foster an environment where educators, families, and children feel welcomed and have a strong sense of belonging
  • Guide and mentor educators to ensure the implementation of a high-quality educational program that meets the developmental needs of children
Requirements
  • Permanent full-time position (76 hours per fortnight)
  • Block shifts of either 7:00 am – 3:00 pm or 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
  • Above award wage, including:
    • Children's Services Award – Children's Services Employee Level 5 with a salary range of $35.13 – $36.28 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation, based on experience and qualifications
    • Educational Leader allowance of $2.23
    • Split shift allowance of $19.00 per day (if applicable)
