The Assistant Director, Industrial and Workplace Relations will play a key role in supporting the fostering of positive workplace relationships and ensuring compliance with the industrial framework to drive organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and assist in the development and implementation of industrial relations strategies and policies.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on complex and higher-risk people management and workplace relations matters.
- Collaborate with the Senior Director, Industrial and Workplace Relations and HR Systems to manage industrial and workplace relations.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of industrial relations principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working Arrangements:
- This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of 12 months.
- Opportunities for flexible working options may include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office-based, and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT.
