The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Director Oversight and Assurance to support the Director in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

This is a key role that involves developing and maintaining the ACIC's ongoing compliance and oversight framework, as well as engaging with oversight bodies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement compliance and oversight strategies to ensure the ACIC's operational activity is in line with relevant legislation and policies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure effective engagement and communication.
  • Lead and develop productive working relationships with stakeholders to encourage support for compliance outcomes.
  • Conduct compliance checks and use information management systems to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leaders to improve business operations and align with agency goals.
Requirements
  • Citizenship: Australian citizen.
  • Security Clearance: Negative Vetting 1.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Organisational Suitability Assessment.
