Healthscope is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee the Billing and Collections operations. In this pivotal role, you will manage a dynamic team within our Centralised Billing and Collections Hub, ensuring the smooth execution of billing processes and collections management.
This position requires strong leadership skills, as you will be responsible for mentoring team members and driving performance towards achieving both individual and collective goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding billing and collections services aligned with Healthscope's operational standards.
- Monitor and report on team performance metrics, ensuring adherence to efficient workflow protocols.
- Address and resolve inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders, fostering effective communication across departments.
- Facilitate change management initiatives as necessary.
- Maintain precise documentation of patient records utilizing the webPAS system.
Selection Criteria:
- Proven experience in managing departmental operations, including staff training and performance analysis.
- Familiarity with private health funds, public health systems, DVA, WorkCover, and third-party contract eligibility.
- Background in health fund and insurer billing processes.
- Relevant experience in debt collection and accounts receivable management.
- Proficient in using the webPAS patient management system.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
