About the Role

We are seeking a Disability Support Coordinator to join our AccessAbility Services team at Swinburne University of Technology. In this role, you will coordinate and deliver tailored support services for students with diverse needs across Higher Education, Vocational Education, Swinburne Online, and Open Universities Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and monitor reasonable adjustments to ensure equal access to education for students with disabilities.
  • Collaborate with academic and administrative staff to promote inclusive learning environments.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage resources effectively to support student success.
  • Facilitate training sessions on accessibility best practices for staff members.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess relevant experience in disability support, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A relevant degree and subsequent experience, or an equivalent combination of education and training, is also essential.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $85,000 - $95,000 per annum, plus 17% superannuation and a range of employee benefits. This position is open only to applicants who have work rights in Australia.
