About the Role

Agricultural Appointments is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales strategies, supporting our dealer network, and fostering growth across various business areas.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers and customers through regular visits and communication.
  • Provide Support: Offer technical sales support to dealers, ensuring their pipelines are up-to-date and their needs are met.
  • Network: Establish and maintain industry relationships to boost the business brand and identify new opportunities.
  • Hit Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales goals for your territory, driving revenue growth and profitability.
  • Plan & Execute: Create and implement sales plans for new and existing customers, leveraging your knowledge of the agricultural sector.
  • Know the Market: Stay up-to-date on market trends and provide forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Achieve Goals: Meet revenue and profit targets, contributing to the company's overall success.
  • Use Tech: Utilize Salesforce, Excel, and other company programs effectively to manage sales data and performance.
  • Spot Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on business opportunities in new and expanding areas of the business.
About You

We are seeking an individual with experience in agronomy or agriculture, who understands the complexities of the agricultural sector. As a skilled problem solver and team player, you will be committed to achieving team objectives and driving business growth.

  • Motivated & Persistent: You will be driven by a love of challenge and able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Great Communicator: Excellent account management and business development skills are essential.
  • Travel-Ready: Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays, is required.
  • Value Seller: Skilled in value-added selling and making sound decisions for customer satisfaction.
  • Education: A formal education in agriculture is a plus, but not essential.
