About the PositionThe Aboriginal Practice Manager will lead a team of dedicated professionals who provide culturally responsive services and programs. Key responsibilities include:
- Leadership and management of SEWB staff
- Oversight of effective, high-quality services and programs
- SUCCESSION PLANNING AND SERVICE COORDINATION
- STAFF RECRUITMENT AND BUDGETARY REVIEWS
- REPORT WRITING AND STAFF SUPPORT
This position is located within the Congress SEWB Service, offering access to a network of peer support, including clinical supervision. The SEWB team provides medical, therapeutic, and cultural and social support with intensive case management as required.
As part of this leadership role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the SEWB team and help shape the future of mental health services in Central Australia.
Key Requirements- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, or public health)
- Extensive experience in leadership and management roles, preferably in the healthcare sector
- Strong understanding of Indigenous culture and community needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
In return for your expertise and commitment, we offer a competitive salary package, including base salary, district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, and estimated tax savings from salary packaging options. Total effective package: $165,406 - $172,822 per annum.
