Job Title: Property Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Support Specialist to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

This role will involve providing administrative support for property and tenancy management functions, ensuring smooth communication with tenants and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming phone calls, front desk inquiries, and distribute keys to contractors.
  • Support the housing team with day-to-day property and tenancy management, including issuing property inspection notices and coordinating inspections.
  • Report minor maintenance issues, issue work orders, assist with invoice coding, and support payment processing.
  • Collect and maintain accurate client information, prepare and update reports, and manage filing and tracking systems for property documents.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including file management, office supply monitoring, equipment maintenance, and overseeing mail distribution.

Requirements:

  • Relevant industry experience in real estate or community housing is highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of Residential Tenancies Act and professional standards in the industry is desirable but gained in the work environment.
  • Certificate IV in Administration or relevant industry experience is required.
  • A current full driver's licence is also necessary.
  • A Working With Children Check is required, with willingness to obtain if not currently held.
