Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Training Solutions Manager to join our team at Programmed. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technical expert with a passion for training and development to make a real impact in a new challenge.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing training initiatives that enhance the technical knowledge and skills of employees, customers, and partners. This includes designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs, as well as assessing training needs across the organization and tailoring programs to meet both current and future business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Program Development: Design, develop, and deliver technical training programs for internal employees, external customers, and partners on the use of lubricants, oils, and associated products.
  • Training Materials Creation: Create a variety of training materials including presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, and hands-on workshops.
  • Training Needs Assessment: Assess training needs across the organisation and tailor programs to meet both current and future business needs.
  • Training Schedule Management: Lead the development of training schedules, workshops, and events, ensuring they are engaging, effective, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Training Evaluation: Manage and track the success of training programs, gathering feedback and measuring results to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Industry Trends: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the training content remains current and relevant.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, R&D, and Operations to ensure that training initiatives support business goals.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide other trainers and team members in the delivery of technical training across the business.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering or Chemistry: A degree in engineering, chemistry, or a related technical field is essential.
  • Certification in Adult Learning Principles: Certification or training in adult learning principles or instructional design is desirable.
  • E-Learning Platforms: Familiarity with e-learning platforms, LMS (Learning Management Systems), and digital training tools is required.
