We are seeking a Technical Solutions Director to provide solution leadership and advisory, develop and implement solutions aligned to blueprints and roadmaps that deliver cost-effective target business states and optimised business value delivery.

  • Coordinate and orchestrate application & information solution architecture activities and deliverables to meet customer demands and expectations.
  • Ensure solutions are aligned to enterprise wide blueprints and roadmaps/future states.
  • Manage architectural impacts of business change.
  • Recommend solutions that improve cost effectiveness and flexibility of the portfolio.
  • Provide thought leadership on solution architecture, specifically within the application & information domain, and foster an environment of continuous improvement within IT & Customer Business Unit.
  • Review, provide analysis, position and response to technical papers as requested by the Chief Architect or Enterprise Architects.

Becoming a Key Player in our Organisation:

You will have prior experience with setting collaboration frameworks, creating a solution prototype, solution development control and leading and influencing technical teams. Additionally, you will have some of the following skills and qualifications:

  • Tertiary education in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent years of experience in the field.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering successful solution architectures in large scale environments/enterprises.
  • Experience with modern cloud architecture & data platforms (AWS, Databricks etc).
  • Architecture experience in financial and/or energy markets.
  • Excellent analytical, technical and problem solving ability.
  • Solid presentation development and delivery skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of technical & non-technical stakeholders.
  • The ability to translate technical information to an easily digestible form.
